The bathing lake was voted 2nd most beautiful swimming spot in Upper Austria by an Austrian newspaper. The spacious, natural swimming lake offer leisure fun and adventure for the whole family.
Places of interest in Tragwein
Right on the market square you can see the Gothic parish church, which was build with a lot of enthusiasm and shows an interesting ribbed vault. The market square has been awarded several times for its contribution to the overall appearance of the townscape. There are also various clerical and cultural events taking place here.
Visit also the little gem that is the Reichenstein fortress ruin and the castle chapel with the life-size statue of the knight Christoph Haym, the knight’s hall and the Waldaiststöckl museum.
