Hagenberg in Upper Austria
The place for technology and research
Hagenberg valley is often called Mühlviertel’s own “Silicon Valley” and has established a worldwide reputation. The University Linz’s RISC research institute is located in the old castle of the 1,000 year old castle.
The software park’s core can be found in the former steward’s yard. 25 companies, eight research institutes, two colleges with new degree courses and a secondary school are located here. The municipal administration, a restaurant and the event centre are also located in the castle.
Hagenberg software Park
Economy – research – education: these key subjects build a perfect symbiosis in Austria’s most innovative technology centre. The software park serves as a regional and international hub for software businesses, software research and software education.
Hagenberg offers you as a guest much more than technology and research.
